OPERATION:
HICAP buckets provide the most efficient use of your elevator
by utilizing a column type conveying principle. Using
the full surface of the belt rather than conventionally
spaced buckets increases production capabilities.
This
is the most effective and space-saving conveying medium
since the vertical En-Masse conveyor. Commodities can
be introduced to the leg boot either the upside or
downside of the casing.
Normally there are from five to
ten bottomless buckets succeeding each other, with the
6th and 11th buckets having a bottom--thus the term "conveying in a column".
