Elevator Buckets

APPLICATION:

CODEMA's HICAP elevator buckets have a patented bottomless design that allows product to be transported not only in each bucket, but also within the space between buckets, thus creating higher capacity within the same working space.

HICAP buckets work with existing belt bucket elevators to increase capacities up to as much as 2-3 times without any structural changes to the leg.

HICAP buckets can also facilitate fine and granular commodities handled in-house or by marine legs.

New elevator leg installations can use HICAP bottomless buckets to reduce the actual casing size requirements.

OPERATION:

HICAP buckets provide the most efficient use of your elevator by utilizing a column type conveying principle. Using the full surface of the belt rather than conventionally spaced buckets increases production capabilities.

This is the most effective and space-saving conveying medium since the vertical En-Masse conveyor. Commodities can be introduced to the leg boot either the upside or downside of the casing.

Normally there are from five to ten bottomless buckets succeeding each other, with the 6th and 11th buckets having a bottom--thus the term "conveying in a column".
